06 Feb Global communications and advocacy leader, Cat Barnett, joins OVID Health
OVID Health today announced the appointment of Cat Barnett to its Board and senior leadership team.
Cat joins OVID as Executive Director reporting to CEO, Jenny Ousbey. She will lead the international and UK communications and patient advocacy practices and will take overall accountability for new business growth and client services across the company.

Cat joins OVID from Havas, where she was Head of PR and Patient Advocacy and central to the agency’s global and regional communications business and leading it through strong growth. She cut her teeth in healthcare communications at the Royal Society of Medicine and the Royal College of Nursing. Over the following two decades, Cat has worked within pharma (AstraZeneca), and at various global healthcare agencies (including Havas, Ogilvy, Edelman, Ketchum, Cohn & Wolfe) in senior roles.
She has delivered numerous award-winning communications and patient advocacy programmes at international, European and national levels. Cat is driven by devising original communications campaigns and activities that have a tangible impact on behaviour, medical practice and policy.
