Our Story

OVID is the only UK-based independent health consultancy which advises clients in PR, public affairs and patient advocacy alongside industry-leading partnerships programmes.

We were founded in 2018 by former ministerial adviser and health comms industry veteran Jenny Ousbey as a specialist agency with a focus on patient-centric, creative and integrated programmes.

Since our launch we have won multiple awards for our client campaigns and have been recognised for our expertise in a number of industry-leading publications.

Policy & Public Affairs

We gain clients cut-through so you can influence system change & build reputations. We:

As the creators of the Patient Partnership Index we:

  • Design and deliver impactful patient-facing materials and advise on shared decision-making
  • Advise on patient engagement strategies at brand or above-brand level
  • Deliver patient advocacy programmes

PR & Communications

We are who clients go to if they want an impactful PR or disease awareness campaign. We:

We are proud to have taken the SME Climate Commitment in 2021, pledging to do our part to help cut carbon emissions and protect the planet. Organised by the SME Climate Hub, this UN-backed commitment means OVID has promised to halve our greenhouse gas emissions before 2030, and achieve net-zero emissions before 2050.
